Broncho Orchestra February 20, 2023
Hey Orchestra!
We’re now approximately two weeks away from contest. Please be diligent workers and flexible over the next few weeks as we push toward our Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation.
And please make every effort to be present at our rehearsals! Remember, rehearsals are mandatory and a prerequisite to perform at contest.
Please take a moment to read through these important reminders:
Pre-UIL Clinic
Please make sure you’ve checked the eligibility list (sent out via schoology) to be sure you can attend. Also, you MUST have turned in your Medical Form (and travel form if applicable) before I can let you on the bus. I better receive a LOT of medical forms tomorrow!
Our itinerary is below:
Assignments in Schoology
We will have one new playing assignment in schoology due before contest (on 3/5). This assignment will help determine changes in chair order, if any, are needed. Reminder that if you don’t turn the chair test in by the due date, you will be asked to play the assignment in class to make up the grade.
Contest Season!
Please remember that rehearsals and sectionals are mandatory and part of your grade! This calendar was distributed last fall so everyone had a chance to make accommodations. Check this week’s schedule below.
Remember, if you fail to attend enough rehearsals, you will not be allowed to perform with us at contest!
Spring Trip
If you’re attending the spring trip, please make sure you’re staying caught up on payments via your Green Light login. Please let me know if you have any questions.
